The Lowy Institute for International Policy

In April 2003 to mark the 50th anniversary of his arrival in Australia, Mr Frank Lowy AC, one of Australia’s leading businessmen, established the Lowy Institute for International Policy in Sydney New South Wales. It was reported that a gift of A$30 million was made to establish the Institute. Lowy’s gift has led to him being awarded the Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship in 2005 by the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.

As an independent international policy think tank devoted to foreign affairs, and Australia’s role in the world, it is ranked as Australia’s leading think tank. Heritage Work

Lancaster Painters Australia were privileged to provide a heritage repair, touch up and repaint service to this National Trust listed building. Original work included the repair of and repaint work to a water damaged wall in the front lobby, re-fixing and artistically touching up a wallpaper border. It was followed by general repaint work throughout the institute, touch up work to hand painted stencils and designs, wood graining, repainting of the front doors and more. Super premium paint and materials were used throughout the stages of work and work health and safety policies were implemented prior to the commencement of works.
